Featured on Big Sean’s new track produced by the legendary No I.D. Control (HOF) ft. Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica, the lyrical artist came out the gate running sending a serious message out not only one artist, but all current artists. He is not only just sending a message out his peers, but also killing the track with lines including him being the “King of New York” and many other mind blowing lyrics. I’d say that is a serious artist who is simply speaking his mind about the current events in his industry, nothing wrong with that. The 7-minute track opens up with Big Sean setting the table and hands it right over to Kendrick who sets the tone including lines with both Sean and Jay Electronica in the mist of his lyrical assassination. Now some may call it beef, but if you have a conscious, he is really calling out his peers to step their game up and not conform to what this industry has been accustomed to for the last 15-years.
With the track dropping late Monday evening, the twitter feeds have been burning with reactions from fans and other artists alike.
