[CHICAGO] In order to see positive change, we MUST change how we are in tune with our youth instead of letting the fear, anger, or lack of concern get in the way. I believe that is it is a long time coming, but I also believe that if we ALL com together and reach out to our youth, and not just depend on our celebrities to do so, our youth will in turn do better and be able to express themselves without resulting to violence. Lets make a statement through our positive work and not let the guns speak for us any more!!!
Got Bars is a free 10-week program that is reaching out the the inner city youth ages 15-24 through Kanye’s non-profit program “Donda’s House” in conjunction with Chicago’s Rhymfest that will teach the youth about beat making and writing allowing them another outlet to express their thoughts. More information and applications will be available on Aug. 2. Make sure that you all Google this to see whats going on with this program!!!
